Description:
The savory, scientific name Satureja montana , is a medicinal plant, also popularly known as winter-savannah and alfavaca-do-campo. Very used in the treatment of gastrointestinal problems, this special aroma plant can reach up to 30 cm in height, has thin leaves finished in tip and its flowers are small, of white or pink coloration. Its leaves have a thyme-like but more spicy taste and are appreciated as a condiment in the preparation of culinary dishes.
