Artemisia, scientific name artemisia vulgaris, is a medicinal plant also known as fire-grass, field chamomile, St. John's wort and queen of herbs. Aster, artemisia grows in several regions of the world and its therapeutic action has been known since the Middle Ages and has become popular as a home remedy in the prevention of migraines and chronic headaches. Generally consumed as tea, this plant is also widely used by women in the treatment of urogenital system problems.

Generally consumed in tea form, the plant that belongs to the same family of chamomile and sunflower, is a great request for the control of abdominal and uterine cramps. There are studies that attest to its anti-inflammatory potential in curing arthritis.
